An autumn vineyard wedding, in their own words

They married late in the season, when the vines had turned and the evenings carried a chill worth wrapping a borrowed jacket around. It was, by every measure, a warm day.

We arrived before the light did, and stayed until the last of the family wandered out under the bulbs. What we came away with was less a record of events and more a portrait of a family in the fullest part of its joy.

Watching it back felt like being handed the evening a second time.
