The lake glows most in the middle of the day when the sun lights the glacial silt, the opposite of most mountain venues. We plan portraits for that unusual window and save the softer edges for vows.

Emerald Lake sits about two and a half hours from Calgary International Airport, across the border into British Columbia. Its remoteness is the point. We handle a full destination day, and because we travel anywhere, distance is never the deciding factor.
